KIDS' CHURCH
Every Sunday we run kids' church — OC Kids — a safe, fun community with play, good times and Bible stories, where every child is welcome.
OC Kids is the children's church at Openchurch Copenhagen — a place where children can be children, have fun, and get to know God better at the same time.
We play, we sing, we hear great stories from the Bible, and we learn how to follow and trust Jesus in everyday life.
It matters to us that OC Kids is safe, homely and easy to navigate, where younger and older children alike feel seen and included.
WHAT A SUNDAY LOOKS LIKE
While the parents are in the service, we gather in the children's church, where the children have a community entirely their own.
There's room for fun, for creativity and for going deeper — we sing, play and learn in ways that suit children of different ages.
We have bright, safe rooms indoors for Bible stories, songs and activities — and when the weather is good we head outside, where there's plenty of space to run around.
That way the children get something that's both joyful and energetic, and that helps them get to know God at their own level.
Our aim is for OC Kids to be somewhere children look forward to every single Sunday.
FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
OC Kids isn't only for the children — it's peace of mind for the parents. When children are well looked after in the children's church, parents can be in the service with an easy mind, knowing their children are in the hands of a committed and caring team.
We want the whole family to feel at home in church. So we make sure the children experience a warm, attentive community where they can make new friends, be themselves, and learn about faith in a way that's fun and worth turning up for.
Our dream is for Sunday morning to be a highlight for children and adults alike — a day the whole family looks forward to, where everyone takes something home with them.
