SOZO
Freedom through Sozo
We want you to live a life that genuinely flourishes. Yet many Christians never quite experience the freedom Jesus has already given.
Whether you're wrestling with old wounds, hard thoughts or something else, Sozo may be exactly what you need.
WHAT THE WORD MEANS
Saved, healed and set free — all at once
Bethel Sozo began at Bethel Church in California in the late 1990s. It takes its name from the Greek word sozo, which appears 110 times in the New Testament and means exactly that: “saved”, “healed” and “set free”.
In a Sozo session you learn to hear and receive truth from the Trinity yourself. As lies are replaced with God's truth, you find greater freedom — and a connection with God you can carry on in afterwards.
HOW IT WORKS
What to expect
No surprises. Here's the shape of it before you say yes.
A quiet place
The session takes place somewhere safe and quiet in our own premises. Before we begin, we'll ask you a few questions.
About an hour and a half
As we go we'll ask questions and pray with you. Calmly, kindly and respectfully — at your pace.
Complete confidentiality
Everything you say stays in the room. The team are Christian volunteers, trained and supervised by experienced Sozo teachers.
It costs nothing
A Sozo costs nothing. If you'd like to, a voluntary gift is welcome — cash or MobilePay 44973. It goes towards developing the ministry.
