Åbenkirke København er en kirke i Valby. Vi mødes i Marketenderiet på Kirsten Walthers Vej 5 hver søndag kl. 11.00. En gudstjeneste varer omkring 75 minutter, og der er børnekirke samtidig. Vi oversætter live til engelsk via headset. Du skal ikke tilmelde dig, og du behøver ikke have været i kirke før.
When
Every Sunday at 11.00. We finish around 12.15, and then the coffee cart comes out. If you're late, just come in and find a seat.
Where
Marketenderiet, Kirsten Walthers Vej 5, 2500 Valby. It's about a 10-minute walk from both Valby Station and København Syd Station, and there's free parking in the neighbourhood.
Who can come
Anyone. There's no membership fee and nothing to pay to turn up. People wear anything from a t-shirt to a shirt, so come as you are.
What a Sunday looks like
75 minutes, and the rest is up to you
When you arrive, our welcome team will meet you. We start with worship — modern and present. Sing along, close your eyes, or just listen. Then comes the talk, and it's about real life, not dusty theory. Sit at the back if you like, and leave whenever you want.

The children have their own programme
While the adults are in the service, the children have their own thing going in OC Kids — play, creative activities and Bible stories told at their level. It runs every Sunday at 11.00, alongside the service. Every volunteer working with our children and young people holds a Danish child protection certificate.

Do I need to be a member?
No. Everyone is welcome. Church isn't a closed club — it's a community of people looking for God and for life together.
I don't understand Danish
We interpret live into English on headsets every Sunday. Just ask for one at the welcome desk when you arrive.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Openchurch is carried by people who choose to give, but that isn't something for you to think about as a guest.
